There you go again,
Leaving us all here
With our hearts broken
And you don’t look back..
Because you don’t care
You never have and never will
I’m tired of seeing you
Tearing up our mother’s heart
Destroying our father’s life
And disappointing the rest of us
They don’t deserve what you do
We can never have a conversation
Without you blowing up in our faces
You cheat, steal, lie, and hurt us..
And what hurts the most is
We don’t know you anymore..
What happened to the brother/son
That was sweet and loving.
Life catches up on us all
But that doesn’t make it right
To treat the people that love you
Like they are trash and no good..
Why don’t you care about the tears
That run down your mother’s eyes
Why don’t you care about the trust
That you’ve lost from your father’s heart
Why don’t you care about the pain
That you’ve given your sisters
And why don’t you care about our family
That love you and have done so much for you..
We’ve given you everything we could
And it sickens me that its not good enough
I don’t know about them,
But you’ve already lost me completely..

this was a very true to the heart poem
it suck when the ones you love and have
hope for keep giving you reasons to loose it
for them, it takes a big person to say I love
you but enough is enough..

Im sorry about whatever this person has done. I sort of understand what you are going through because we had this very close cousin who got knocked down on life and resorted to drugs. It changed him entirely. He has changed what we used to believe about him. It made our family cry and he didn't understand that the things he did affected us all. Family problems can easily be considered the hardest things to go through. It feels terrible to be betrayed and let down by someone we loved and trusted.

I truly enjoyed reading your poem because aside from the fact that it was wonderfully written, i used to feel the same way. Be strong. You'll get through it.

[THE LOST ROSE]

I'm sorry to hear that family sometimes goes through struggles within the unit. Your family is like a lot of other families across this nation. Sometime society over take internal love and it rules the individuals instead of GOD. Poetry is an amazing way to get the frustration out without escalating the event and make it worse. I will pray for your family and I hope creaqtively it doesn take any of it away from you!

This is one of the most moving and heart felt things I have read in quite some time. I can feel your hurt and anger through every word written. My thoughts are with you. Familial breakdown is never an easy experience to go through. Please, never give up hope for a better day. Trust that there are times in life that hope is all that we have to hold onto. Without it, there would be no need for tomorrow. I know that if people had given up all hope for me...I would probably not be here today. You don' t have to approve the actions of others or even agree with them at all to have hope. I don't mean to interject my personal beliefs on you. So, I'll leave that where it is.
This poem is Excellent and it conveys a complete realism to the reader. Each and every word is saturated with pure emotion. Keep up the Excellent works of art! Stand strong!

This is really heartbreaking... it hurt when a loved one continues to hurt you and when you give them chance after chance hoping for the best only to get hurt worse... you said this with strength and conviction... the ending was perfect.
