One Place

Whats your place?

One Place
Do you have that one place
Where you can go to, to escape?
Mine is the shower..
I can lock the door behind me
And no one asks why
I can stare at my naked body
And no one can judge but me
I can turn the water to steaming hot
Or to the right for ice cold
I usually choose extremely hot
So hot it fogs the mirror in seconds
And no one can say a word about it
The water runs down my sore muscles
Only I can feel the pain
I raise my face up at the water
Only it can wash my beauty away
I can use the shampoo that I like
And clean my hair the way I want
Without anyone complaining
And I can make fun hair dews out of soap
With no one thinking I’m a dork but me
I can sing with a low voice
Where only the water can hear me
I can leak out my tears from my eyes
And only the wall feels them
I stand so close to the tile
Because it wont push me away..
I can talk to myself
Without it thinking I’m crazy
I can have wild pleasure emotions
Without it thinking I’m a freak
The shower is one place
I can go to get away from everything
It’s a place where there is no stress
Or harm, or damage, or battle ..
Just me and the water.
