I didn’t want to live a lie
I had to let you go..
We had our times
That we were happy
I promise you,
I did love you..
I just fell out of love..
The true colors came alive
One day you will see
That this was the right choice
And you will thank me..

we all know that is BS, but i have to agree with it on this point. You had someone in your life that made you feel the way you were supposed to feel. Now you know for next time.

Oh how the treachery of love wreaks havoc upon our lives. I have been the one to fall out of love, and the unfotunate one to be left loving. What a viscious game we play...I enjoyed the poem, as is the case anytime I read your work.
