The Holiday’s
It’s been different this year..
Everyone is working hard,
So many hours at their jobs..
They all want the holiday’s to be over with
No one is happy, fighting, arguing, getting upset,
Stressed out, crying, frustrated, and annoyed..
Everyone is trying to run out and get gifts
At the last minute..
Planning dinner for Christmas,
Baking all kinds of sweets
I know its crazy,
But some people forgot what the Holiday’s were about..
Its suppose to be filled with happiness and joy
Sharing the love around all the people you care for..
Giving them gifts and watching them open it..
And seeing the look on their faces
Especially kids, they are the ones that make everyone happy
Seeing them open up what they got from “Santa”
Setting out cookies and milk for him..
Your suppose to be excited for this time of year
And lucky us we got SNOW!
That never happens.
It all melted, but hey we still got some!
Take a deep breath and breathe
Look around you and realize how beautiful
This holiday is.. Its precious and delightful
Once its over, your going to be wishing for it to be back
Don’t get stuck with the regret that you should have been happier.
Put all of the stress and issues aside
And enjoy this season with your family and friends.

I don't enjoy the holidays and I have told you my reasons why, and i won't get into them on here.

This poem needs to be on a greeting card, seriously. Send it to halmark or something and you may find it on a card next season. you express what everyone is thinking and that is most important.

I agree, for once I wish everyone would just slow down and enjoy the Christmas season.
People put too much stress and worry into this time of the year when they need to just stop and take the time to enjoy it.
Besides, it only comes once a year.
