A Place To Stay

A Place To Stay

A Poem by QuietPoet

Just as my dad said it, "it will be hard, but we will work it out and we can do it".. Thank you Dad..

A Place To Stay
I come home from work,
My parents notice I was frustrated
They can tell I’ve been going through a lot..
My dad told me that,
My boyfriend has a place to stay
When he comes down on January 7th
He will be staying at my house
“Everyone needs help, Kylie”
The way my dad said it,
Went through me like knifes
Because I doubted them,
I knew in the back of my heart,
That they would help me in anyway they could,
I just needed to grow some guts and ask..
So much relief has been lifted from my shoulders
I can now enjoy the holiday’s,
Its finally going to be a new year,
My boyfriend is coming on the 7th
And he has a place to stay…

YAY!!! What a relief!!! So much has been placed upon your shoulders, lately, that this must be the best news you've received in quite a while.

So much to celebrate this Christmas!

Another great poem, Kylie!

Such a treasure, are you :)
