DrivingA Poem by QuietPoetI love driving. But when you do it alot, you begin to watch everyone around you. And you have to, esp in my city. Beware of some language..
Driving Passing all the cars on the freeway Looking at every single driver A guy driving in the right lane, taking his time Rockin’ out to his metal music A woman driving in the middle lane Looking so sad, dead to her face.. Four business men, riding along Talking about their next plan A couple yelling and screaming at each other Not paying any attention to the road Brother and sister fighting in the back Driving the mom mad A lady just talking it up on her cell phone Probably about stupid gossip and holding up tons of traffic And the a*****e behind me wants to go 90mph But I don’t move over, So he speeds pass me giving me the finger, well FU too. An independent truck driver Looks so dirty and tired, and just trying to get home.. Then there is me in the left lane Fully aware of every driver Every move they make My eyes forward, behind and the side of me And I feel each and every drivers emotion Just by their face expressions Finally I get to where I need to be And thank God I made it safely. © 2008 QuietPoetReviews
