I still cry because of what you did

But I smile for the ones around me

Searching for more then what I do each day

Wanting to wake up happy

Wishing you were right beside me

I can’t change what has happened in the past

It is what it is, I might hate it

But all I can do is move forward

And start my life new..

I can’t find everything

But I can look

I’m not going to make anyone wait

Like they’ve made me

I know there is distance between us

But if we put love first
