Screaming

Screaming

A Poem by QuietPoet

Screaming

If I were on a mountain

Looking down at the world

Feeling all my emotions

Crying for my life

And screaming for you

Would you come running?

Or will you ignore me

Like you are now..

If I were on a building

Looking down at everyone

Seeing them come and go

Thinking what has come over me

What in the world do I want

I’m on my knees looking down below

And I am screaming for help

No one can hear me… No one..

If I were on a rock

Above the ocean

Looking down at the dangerous waves

Thinking I am one that splashes over

It starts to rain over my eyes

I lift my head to look up in the dark clouds

Feeling that God is next me

Whispering I am sorry for whatever I have sin

And I am screaming for Him to take me

But not even He will listen

I am already on land

Looking at my path

Its right in front of me

But it seems I can’t get my legs to move

It feels like chains are wrapped around my feet

And I sit in pain screaming for someone to let me loose..

Great poem... really... uhh... i like the irony that your name is quite poet and youre screaming... but i suppose its the quiet ones who have the sharpest feeling that are not expressed... its also the loud happy nothing-wrong ones who hide as well good job... ^.^
