Accident

Bad accident that I saw Sunday night.. Just thank God that you are alive..

Accident

I drive up to a bunch of flashing lights

I knew a mile away it was bad

The lights lit up the whole street

Police had 3 lanes blocked with cones

All cars had to drive on the left shoulder

I become closer to the crash

A truck has been flipped over

It was laying on the side

There was another car slammed right into the back of the truck

I see 3 guys sitting on the ledge of the highway

I seen their faces: scared, sad, and lost souls

I knew someone had died because there was a body covered on the ground

Right then and there my heart stopped beating..

Thinking of everyone I know
Praying that they are okay

I wake up in the morning

The accident flashes through my eyes like I was there

Someone that was involved didn’t wake up to take a breath

Didn’t get to say goodbye to loved ones

Now there is a family out there with their hearts broken

Living without the one person they loved the most in this world..

Tears come down my cheek like rain has fallen from the clouds

Now whenever I pass by the accident spot I pray for them..

Rest In Peace.
