Save Me

Save Me

A Poem by QuietPoet
"

Just save me...

"

Save Me

I woke up this morning

Felling like I have lost everything

Staring up at the ceiling

The sun beating on my face

The brightness kills my eyes

I move out of my bed and onto the couch

Uncomfortable..

I then move to my parents room

I rest my head on my mother’s soft pillow..

I crawl into a ball and hug my body tightly

Imagining his soft hands around me

I begin to close my eyes and feel absolutely nothing..

Someone could be screaming and I wouldn’t move

I wake with the sound of my phone vibrating

I get into the shower thinking I will snap back into reality

But I don’t even know what that is

Or where I stand or where I belong..

I feel so alone and lost

Please save me…

The emptiness caused by a broken hart , is touching.

Your intense feeling grow with each line leading to your bleeding last words .

I relate a lot to this. I hate it when I feel like this, it f***s up my mind when I go through it. Great work Sweetie. Orlando

A most reverberative piece. You flow easily from one feeling to the next, never leaving anything out and showing more than a bit of soul in it. It is good to write about things like this. I hope your savior comes soon...
