To go somewhere

To run with the wind

To feel boundless

To be wild like the horses

To sense the grass

To experience the ropes gone

To fly like the birds

To touch the clouds

To see the blue sky

To feel the heat of the sun

To face nothing

To fall like the rain

To feel strong like thunder

To be lit like lighting

To dance like there’s no tomorrow

To open without being shy

To be someone that has no worries

To survive something without being judged

To live released without any words

To be like a tree

To be so tall so no one can touch

To feel so high

To smell the leaves

To set eyes on the colors

To be like a seed

To grow in the ground

To be watered

To feel the dirt

To be like a river

To move so fast

To have no fear

To drop down a waterfall

To be someone

To be something

To be fearless

To be free….

Just a list? A good, true list, certainly. I was actually hoping the poem would lapse into a story about the meaning of freedom somehow. Ah, well. It is still a good list. :)
