Dark Cage

Dark Cage

A Poem by MadScientist

Soothing are the tears that fell,
Drop by drop until they tell
The story of their misery
A gaping void they leave,
But now at last I can breathe
now that I'm free.

Interesting. A make you think and read again piece. There is a definite progression in this as the protagonist moves from grief to the relief that tears often bring, yet the dark cloud seems to remain and is the freedom death itself?

The freedom is the freedom from anger and sadness, like when get into a fight or or your grieving
