Moon

Moon

A Poem by Kat Leila

The Moon

The moon he knows my secrets,

he knows how I can’t sleep at night.

He is there as I lay plagued by fear, alone and scared,

praying for mornings kind light.

The moon he knows my secrets, but they are his to keep,

I whisper them to him gently as the rest of the world is asleep.

This is rightly said that the moon knows our hidden secrets; yet more complex for the day's dazzing rays to peep through and see them...The poem is nice in the sense that it is so short and sweet and close to panged lovers....

I like the feeling of being at one with nature. You made me feel as if I
was a part of something much bigger than myself. Nice work.

Everytime I tried to go to sleep, my thoughts often run, thinking all about my worries and fears. There's something about nighttime that makes your mind run wild. So the moon holds so many secrets from us. That's a great concept.

A relaxing set of lines on insomnia.

NOTES: praying for [morning's] kind light.
