Of all the things I could not resist,

Stood temptation

Amongst the idle thoughts,

The could be and what if’s

Stood temptation

 

Crowding out the good boys,

in a leather jackets and dark as night shades

Stood temptation

 

In a bottle of glass,

amber liquid, calling sweetly

Stood temptation

 

Clutched between her fingers,

Red lip print pattern, on the brown and white stem

Stood temptation

 

            Temptation stood

       Temptation stood

       Temptation stood

 

 

        But I walked away

Interesting format quasi mantra like to re- enforce the idea behind the impulse. It seems that you want to create that scene in were temptation surrounds. Oh , there are so many and such clever ones that even at the end when you emphasize that you walked away the mantra still applies as temptation stood and will stand.

Otherwise what would we walk away from?
