Do you mourn the loss of me?

Do you mourn the loss of me?

A Poem by Kat Leila
"

*A Broken Hearted Plea*

"

Do you morn the loss of me,
as I morn the loss of you?

Can we ever return to the place of the old us,
the us who were who were simple, real and true?

Can you see my face in your mirror?

Do yu feel my heart beat in your chest?
Can you live without me?
Is this for the best?

I know I took you for granted.
I'm sure I failed every test.
But I've broken what was perfect.
I cant fixed what I've messed.

Now I sit in the silence.
A slave to the quiet and the dark,
afraid to speak, to sing or write:
Afraid to leave my mark.

How does one begin? How does one start?
To mend or repair a self broken heart.
