Remembrance

Written in light of a close friend I lost.

We pass by on most days.  We both know we're there, we both know the other is watching. That’s all we will do, is watch. Because we cant do anything else. I have ruined everything we had, anything that would could have. Id give up anything to be by your side. I know during our time together I did a lot of wrong. I did a lot of  hurt. I knew that no matter how much I loved you, you would never feel the same. So I had to destroy what was destroying me. That’s the only way I can make this understandable. Yes, I did terrible things, I made you hate yourself and cry and depressed. Yes,  I have made you hate me too. And I think at the end of the day I'm ok with that. I would rather look back to familiarity and hate, then look back and see nothing

Not bad, that little poem thing (forgive my ignorance its 4am) really hit me. I have never had a real relationship beyond friends but I have learned enough to understand it, so I repeat, nice job.
