The Wildecat

The Wildecat

A Poem by ~The Queen~
"

A return of a generous gift to a wilde friend. <3

"

So here I am, stumped on what to write,

And he's sitting at his desk, his smile big and bright.

He knows how to make the littlest thing funny,

About the egg, the cricket and yes even the bunny.

He is a vietnam veteran and to that I salute

here all dress up in a sea cadet suit.

He fought for his country, he fought to be true,

Yes he fought for the red, the white, and the blue.

He has a wife who's lucky to have found a man so kind,

Yes their married so you'd best keep that in mind.

He has hidden messages in all his work,

and the humour is enough to make a sad person perk.

Yes, I'm happy to say that I know this man today,

His work, and his kindness keep the nightmares at bay.

He knows how to say the sweetest things,

And I hope someday I'll be under his wings.

The nicest guy you'll ever meet ever,

The bond you'll make will be super hard to sever.

He fought for freedom and the great flag that flies,

And to show your respect, raise your face to the skies.

This poem does him absolutely no justice at all,

When you read his work, you'll understand my call.

I hope this poem intices you to meet,

A man whom I find kind, loving and sweet.

To my new and talented friend Wildecat. This poem does nothing for him, but it's the thought that counts.
