One starry night

Out on a breezy night

Accompanied by starry skies

With the moon's dim light

And with that which darkness hides

Gazing at faraway stars

Warmed by the dancing flame

Burning away wooden bars

Stealing what the shadows claim

Dwelling on decisions once taken

Thinking about actions made

Considering chances forsaken

Remembering the prices paid

Looking forward to challenges ahead

Ready for the fights to come

No matter lost or misled

Or where the hits come from

Preparing to face it all

Gearing up for what's next

Be it rise or fall

Whether charmed or hexed

Waiting for the sun to shine

For a new day is at hand

Dawn is my sign

As that is when i make my stand

What will the future hold?

What do the days hide?

What will hereafter unfold?

What will happen in my ride?

Will i conquer or fail?

Will it be haven or hell

To  lose or prevail
