Angel, My Sweet

Angel, My Sweet

A Poem by Que
"

I had been walking in the woods, ended up at the top of a "mountain" and I saw a man gazing at a woman. I assumed he didn't know her, they left seperately and never exchanged a word.

"

She lies there, sprawled,
exhausted from the climb
or just fallen from the heavens.
I do not know.
She smiles, proud,
having survived the climb
or survived the fall.
I do not know.
She lost her smile,
seeing how high she’d risen
or how low she’d fallen.
I do not know.
She starts downhill,
thirsty for blue water
or thirsty for blue skies.
I do not know.
Good bye, sweet woman.
Angel, my sweet.
Will we meet again?
I do not know.
