Puddles of Gasoline

Puddles of Gasoline

A Poem by Que

Visions in puddles of gasoline
are veiled with foggy colors
sent to swirling by dead junebugs,
an outstretched wing as a sail,
never to send itself full throttle
into unforgiving walls of pain.

Visions in puddles of gasoline
remain veiled by foggy colors,
pretending to be a beautiful future.
The sailing junebug floats through
as the leaves meant to be read
on the bottom of an embittered teacup.
