Some would say that there's a tinge of cynicism in your poem, but I choose to differ. More than that, the narrator's voice is strong and goading: Life is about moving forward, even when there's danger incoming, and your poem is wise in stating that obvious.

this poem is like life itself, both good and bad together, working hand in hand. great poem. i like your view on life in this poem. you look at it how i do; you look at the good as well as the bad and take in consideration of both possibilities. i like it. :D
