All That Glitters Is Not Gold.

All That Glitters Is Not Gold.

A Poem by W. Lynch
"

Deception can be a a bothersome little devil sometimes.

"

How can something be so vast,

Yet how can it be so small?

How can something matter so much,

And sometimes not at all?

It may be overlooked,

But not forgotten.

Never lost;

Never soughten.

I suppose it matters

On how it is percieved.

All can see it differently,

And usually they are decieved.

But to me

It always looks the same.

Never changing;

A cheating game.

A human.

Oh, soughten isn't a word I'm pretty sure. Alas... oh well.

Well, I thought that about the word...soughten..but then, we do have poetic license and that makes it okay! tee hee....a nice write in spite of the "no word"!....maybe you could have said, "Often downtrodden"..just a suggestion.
I like it very much!
