The Monster

This is my first and last peom probably

 

I feel like there's a monster inside of me trying to get out

It's tears, howls, and its rips at my soul

But I know if it does get out 

 it will destroy everything

Leaving only ashes as it laughs at my hopes and dreams

It’s the reason I am alone

And that’s just the way it likes it.

Very intense and not bad for your first poem. There's clearly a little bit of a poet in all of us. You have the potential, but if this is your last, then ok. You did a good job though, and I saw no grammar issues.

captures the poem in its identity, the wake of emotion that
overcomes he reade, you've captured an original theme, the focus
and sincerity brings your ords to life, the monster that lurks within,

Brief...but very powerful...the monster...the sin inside of us...trying to get out and manifest itself and blacken the soul...a wonderful exploration and portrayal of human nature!
