Weird Times in Oscars High "School Daze"

ACT 3

 

EXT. LIBRARY �" AFTERNOON

Jessica is sitting along reading a book when she hears the sound of group of girls whispering and gossiping. She turns around to see Emily and group of girls.

Girl#1:

Wow that’s so romantic. I can’t even get Peter to say anything close to that.

 

Girl#2:

And on Valentine day, so do you think they’re get back together.

 

Cindy:

I don’t know. He’s acting so dark and mysterious. He won’t let her in.

 

Girl#3:

Ugh, I hate when guys do that. What’s the boy’s name?

 

Cindy:

Lucas Cain.

 

Girl#2:

Isn’t he one of those new people who just came?

 

Cindy:

Yeah, he is and not a bad looking person either.

 

Jessica didn’t say a word as she gets up and starts heading out the door. Lucas walks around the corner and sees her. He starts walking toward and grabs her from behind. She panics and everything stops moving expect Lucas.

Lucas:

Oh crap! We need to go now!

 

Jessica:

Wait, I have to put everything back the way it was.

 

Lucas:

No, this is prefect we can get out without anyone seeing us. Come on.

 

Lucas and Jessica walked down the hallway as soon as they were out of area. Everything went back to normal.

 

 

EXT. MCHALE’S HOUSE �" AFTERNOON

Jane and Alice are outside of the house in the police vehicle looking at the size of the house. Alice is more impressed than Jane as they gets out of car and starts heading to the house.

 

Alice:

Why haven’t seen this place before?

 

Jane:

Yeah, Dr. McHale likes to work in a peaceful environment.

 

Jane and Alice walk up to the front door and knocks on it. After a few quiet moments, Alice knocks on the door again. This time the door opens up and it was reveal Anna was on the other side.

 

Anna:

Hello, can I help you?

 

Alice:

Hello Dr. McHale, I’m Deputy Alice Walker and this Dr. Anna Wisk. We need your help with a certain case. Can we enter?

 

Anna:

Of course

 

Anna moves out the way allowing the two ladies to enter the house. Then she led them into the living room where they took their seats.

Anna:

So what is this all about?

 

 

 

Jane:

You heard of the attacks that have happened in the past two days. We think that the attacker is a mutant.

 

Anna:

What makes you think at?

 

Alice pulls out a folder and hands it to Anna who opens it and reads it.

Anna:

It does look like mutant with the power to control water molecules.

 

Alice:

So how we capture it?

 

Anna:

The first thing we have to figure out who it is. So I guessing you have any leads or theories.

 

Alice looks at Jane who nods her head.

 

Jane:

Yes, Kessler, Dark, and Dacey were all part of this one case that involved a raped victim.

 

Anna looks at a photo of the girl with her family.

 

Anna:

Pretty, Isabella Franklin is back for revenge.

 

Alice:

That would be easy expect she died a few months after the court let William out.

 

Anna:

Who is this girl next to Isabella?

 

Alice:

That her sister is Bianca, she was about 7 when all this happened.

 

Anna:

10 years to plan this out.

 

Jane:

What you think it’s her killing all this men?

 

Alice:

Of course she watched these men slowly killed her sister. She wants revenge.

 

Anna:

She killed the supporter, the judge, and her next victim will be the rapist right?

 

Alice:

If William Dark is the next target then he is in good hands. The sheriff is with him.

 

Anna:

If Bianca Franklin is a mutant then your sheriff is in great danger.

 

Alice’s phone goes off and she walks out of the room to answer it. Jane turns to Anna.

Jane:

Thank you for your help.

 

Anna:

No problem, Jane Wisk. How do I know that name? Jane, weren’t you one of my student a Harvard University.

 

Jane:

(smiles)

Yes, I heard your theory on genetic mutation and it was amazing. Then you just disappeared all together. I always want to ask what happened to you.

 

Anna:

I realized that to truly understand meta-humans you must look beyond the genetic, beyond the abilities, and then all you see is a person.

 

Alice reenter the room placing the phone back in it’s case.

  

Alice:

You were right, Dr. McHale. She went after Dark, but Mike stopped her. I need to get Dark right now.

 

Alice walks out the door.

 

 

Jane:

Well, it was nice meeting you again.

 

Jane gets out of her seat and follows Alice out the room. Out of the corner of the room, Lucas walks out of the shadow.

 

Lucas:

Should we follow them?

 

Anna:

I’m not so sure she killed two people and nearly killed the third. The police should handle it.

 

Lucas:

She knows that Ed’s a mutant and as soon as she opens her mouth. They kick down the front door.

 

Anna:

We have done nothing wrong.

 

Lucas:

They will find something we done wrong or they make up something. Do I like the fact I’m protecting a murderer? No. Do I like the fact that I protecting a rapist? No! However will I do all these things to protect this home and everyone in it? Damn right I will.

 

Anna remains silence as Lucas walks out of the room.

 

EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE POLICE STATION �" EARLY EVENING

 

Edwin and Ashley walks out of the police station. Ashley seems a little more pleased than Edwin. They walk past a couple of officers when Ashley walks ahead. Edwin looks across the street and sees Bianca sitting in a bench.

 

Edwin:

(pulls out the keys)

You want to get the car.

 

Ashley looks at Edwin before walking away. Edwin crosses the street and walks in front of her. She looks up at him.

 

Bianca:

Are you going to just stand there or are you going to sit down.

 

Edwin sat down next to her.

Edwin:

What do you want?

 

Bianca:

I want you to back off. Let me finish my mission and I will leave this town and never return.

 

Edwin:

You’re killing people.

 

Bianca:

People who deserve die for what they did.

 

Edwin:

I know what happened to your sister, but.

 

Bianca:

Don’t give that killing these men won’t bring her back bullshit.

 

Edwin:

If you keep doing this I have to stop you.

 

Bianca:

Game on, but I hope you’re packing more power this time.

 

Bianca gets up and starts walking away, but turns around.

 

Bianca:

That offer is still on the table.

 

Then she continues walking away. Edwin pulls out his phone as Ashley arrives with the car. He gets up and heads to the car. Once inside Ashley hits the gas and they speed away.

 

EXT. JIMMY DARK’S MANISON �" EVENING

Lucas is waiting outside in a car as more police cars pasts him by. Then the car door opens up and Ashley enters the car.

 

Lucas:

How did you get her so fast?

 

Ashley:

Our car is faster than yours. What’s up with all the police?

 

Lucas:

I don’t know, but they have been pasting by since I got her.

Ashley:

Which means they’re playing the defensive now?

 

Lucas:

Yeah, but sometime a good offensive is good defensive.

 

Ashley:

You don’t expect us to rush in there.

 

Lucas:

No, not yet…

 

Then a group of police vehicles rushes by them and pulls up into the driveway. Police officer gets out of their car and immediately goes through the door. They run down turn right through a double door and past the butler who didn’t look worried or even surprised. Then they burst through another door.

 

Jimmy:

Good Evening, ladies and gentlemen I think I found what you were looking for.

 

The camera zooms out to show Jimmy standing over the naked body of Bianca with a weird looking gun point at her head.

 

 

Lucas (O.S):

But the first scene of trouble we are going in.

 

Scene fade into dark

So far your screenplays are amazing

Great job. Nice continuation and a good even feel to this one. Non stop keeping the reader pulled in. I like the scene setups really helps keep the reader involved.
