Weird Times in Oscar High Act 3

Act 3

 

In a plain white room, Jessica is sitting on a metal table surround by medical posters. When the door opens up, Anna walks through wearing a white lab coat and carrying a clipboard.

 

Anna:

Well Jessica, I have some good (She sits down next to Jessica) you’re not poisonous or contiguous, but a psychic. Your brain sent out wave that temporary shut down the brain.

 

Jessica:

Like an EMP. Isn’t shutting down the brain kind of dangerous?

 

Anna:

Yes, it is that why I want to run some more test, but for right now why don’t you go relax.

 

Jessica:

Anna, there something you should know. When I first use my ability it was on my boyfriend and he got sick. Then I use it on the whole neighborhood.

 

Anna:

I know everyone is fine, expect for Peter. It seems your ability cause a brain aneurysm to that gave him a stroke.

 

Jessica:

Oh god!

 

Anna:

It’s not your fault, you didn’t know. That why you are here to learn about your ability.

 

Anna walked over and hugged her. Jessica embraced it.

 

Jessica gets up from the table and walks out of the room with Anna. They went their separate ways as Jessica walked down hallway to opened door where Ashley is reading a magazine while doing a yoga position.

 

Jessica:

Hey, what’s up?

 

Ashley:

Nothing much, I’m just working out. Are you still thinking about Abel?

 

Jessica:

I have no idea what you’re talking.

 

Ashley:

Don’t give me that. Hot guy saves your life and then next thing he’s ditches you.

 

Jessica:

He didn’t ditch me.

 

Ashley:

Don’t worry I got a feeling he will be back.

 

Jessica:

You think.

 

Ashley dropped out of her yoga position and performed a cartwheel. She turned to Jessica.

 

Ashley

(smiled)

Sweetie, I know.

 

EXT. Long road

 

Amanda is driving through a road in completed silence. She looks a little wary when she drives past Abel walking the sidewalk carrying a bag. She looks shock as she immediately performs a U turn. Abel turns to watch as Amanda pulls the car over and gets out the cart. They look shock as they look at each other.

 

Amanda:

Lucas?

 

Abel:

Amanda?

 

Amanda took a step in forward of Abel who still looked a little surprise.

Amanda:

You’re alive?

 

An awkward silent occurred.

 

Abel:

Yeah I am alive.

 

Amanda:

You can’t be. You die in explosion with the rest of your family. I was there. I saw the explosion and flames no one could survive that.

 

Abel didn’t look at her as he slowly back.

 

Abel:

I’m sorry I wish you didn’t saw that.

 

Amanda:

But you were alive this whole time.

Where have you been? Why didn’t you contact me?

 

Abel:

I thought it would be better if I didn’t come back.

 

Amanda:

You thought it would be better you didn’t come back.

Do you have any idea what I been through. I watched you die, Lucas. I could still feel the flames on my face from the explosion.

 

Abel:

I’m sorry, but things changed that day.

 

Amanda:

What’s wrong?

 

Four black SUVs appears down the street and were heading towards them. Abel panics and grabs Amanda by her waist. He pulls her close and kisses her before she could even say anything. It was deep passionate kiss. The SUVS passes them without stopping once they were clears Abel broke the kiss.

 

Abel:

Sorry again, I got to go.

 

Abel runs away leaving Amanda standing there. She was trying to catch her breath.

 

Amanda:

Wow!

 

EXT. Training Ground

 

Ashley, Edwin, and Jessica are standing in the middle of yard behind a table of cups. Jessica looks a little confuses as she bites her nail.

 

Jessica:

You want me to do what again?

 

Ashley:

You’re a psychic so you probably have more powers than just stunning people.

 

Edwin:

Telepathic, Telekinetic, and even Pyrokinesis can all be accessible by your mind.

 

Jessica:

(turns to Edwin)

How do you know so much about psychic?

 

Edwin:

I’m kind of psychic myself.

   

 

Edwin grabs one of the cups and throws into the air. He extends his other hand and shoots a powerful lightning bolt that burns the cup. Jessica looks amazing at the site.

 

Edwin:

I can manipulate electricity using my mind.

 

Jessica:

That is so cool. I wish I could do that.

 

Ashley:

You think that’s cool, you should see him take a shower. He takes forever.

 

In the kitchen, Sarah and Anna are watching the others while drinking tea.

 

Anna:

It seems Ashley and Edwin enjoys working with Jessica.

 

Sarah:

They like helping people in general, sis. I have to admit I still a little worry about Abel.

 

Anna:

Abel can take care of himself, and I got a funny feeling we will be seeing him soon.

 

Sarah smiles when she heard her phone rang. She pulls out it of her jacket pocket.

 

Sarah:

Hello, Abel?

 

Abel:

Sara, it’s me. We have a problem and they brought friends.

 

EXT. Four black vans moving

 

The black SUVs were halfway to the house as the team was getting them prep. They were putting on their vests and armor, checking their guns, and preparing their equipments.

 

Agent #1:

Okay, we’re dealing with four mutants. You know the drill separate them and take them down.

 

The driver:

Sir, we have a problem.

 

Agent #1 looks out the windshield and sees Anna standing in the middle of the road with her car.

 

Agent #1:

Stop the van.

 

The driver hits the brakes and eight armed men runs out of the van. They point their rifles at Anna as Agent #1 gets out of the van.

 

Agent #1:

Doctor Anna McHale, I should have known you will be a part of this. (turns to his men) Search the forest. They couldn’t have gotten far unless you wish to call them out. Make easy on yourself.

 

Anna:

(shakes her head)

That not what I came for.

 

The men enter the forest and begin searching.

 

Agent #1:

What do you want, Anna?

 

Anna:

Peace, I want you to leave this town. Your operative is disrupting my work. If you leave I promise no one will be harm.

 

Agent #1:

Hiding behind mutant, are we?

 

Anna:

No, I’m just telling to happen to your men and giving you an option to avoid it. It’s up to you to take it or simply to ignore.

 

Agent #1:

We will just see what happened to your precious mutants.

 

EXT. Inside of the forest

 

Sarah and others was running through the forest as they started hearing sound of movement. Ashley climbed up a small cliff to get a better view. She looks down and sees a large group of armed men spread out a searching formation. After a few moments, Ashley went back to the others.

 

Edwin:

How many are they?

 

Ashley:

Twenty heavy armed.

 

Sarah:

Anyway we can get around them?

 

 

Ashley:

We have to wait for them to pass us, but then they might just change direction.

 

 

Edwin:

(whispered)

Let me guess you want to attack them.

(Ashley nods her head)

Okay, we split up Ashley and I will distract the soldiers while you take Sarah out of here.

 

Jessica nods her head while Sarah looked a little uneven.

 

Sarah:

(Whispered)

You can’t do this. It’s against everything we stand for.

 

Ashley:

(Whispered)

No, it’s self defense. They came here to attack us and we should them off.

 

Edwin:

(Whispered)

I agree, but we are not going to kill them.

(He turns to Ashley)

 

Ashley:

(Whispered)

Of course I hate killing. Let’s get this done. I’m missing Desperate Housewives.

 

Before Sarah could say anything else, they leaped off the cliff leaving Sarah staring after them. Jessica grabbed Sarah’s arm and pulled her away.

 

EXT. Inside of the forest

 

The sound of battle can hear although the forest. Edwin and Ashley were surrounded by men shooting at them. Edwin would knock them with his electric powers while Ashley would fight them with her fist. She was knocking them back like they were ragdolls.

 

Edwin shot lightning blast out of both hands hitting two men in the chest. There was one behind trying to sneak up, but the agent step on a stick. Edwin didn’t look back as he move his hand behind him sending a bolt that hit the man so hard he crashed into the tree. Edwin smiled as he moved on.

 

Five men search for Ashley.

 

Masked Man:

Where did she go?

(looks up and sees her hanging upside down like a bat)

There she is!

 

 All five men point their guns at her ready to shoot, but she dropped down in front of him. She kicked the gun out of his hands and kicked him in the chest. Other soldiers fired, but she dodged the bullets in end making them each other.

 

Ashley:

Huh, I didn’t think that would work. I guess you guys aren’t the bright.

 

Edwin appeared, looked at that the bodies and then at Ashley.

 

Ashley:

Hey, they shot themselves. Well each other.

 

A few meters away from the battle Jessica led Sarah to the through forest. They kept running to a big tree when an agent knocks Jessica back by hitting her with the rifle.

 

Agent:

Jessica Wilton, oh how I have been waiting for this day.

For what you did to my brother, you b***h.

(hits her again)

 

Sarah jumps on top of the agent and starts beating on him. The agent pushed her off of him. He went in front of Jessica and removed his mask. He revealed to be Matthew McCray, Peter’s older brother.

Matthew:

I’m doing the world a favor getting rid of you.

 

Sarah looked terrified as she stared down a barrel of a rifle. He didn’t pull the trigger he still as a statute. Sarah however was perfectly fine. She walked over and poked Matthew in the cheek.

Sarah:

I got to admit I’m impressive. Now what do we do?

 

Jessica picks up a long stick and knocks Matthew in the back of the head.

Jessica:

A*****e!

 

Jessica and Sarah continue running until they got to the main road. They see Anna and Agent #1 standing the middle of the road.

Anna:

Don’t you think you should check on your men?

 

Agent #1:

They’re doing just fine taking out your students, should I call them that? More like test subjects.

Anna:

They’re not my students or test subject. They’re just people who need help, and I am going to help in every way I can.

 

Agent #1:

You are really passionate about this.

(Anna nods her head)

Then I’m sorry about this.

 

He pulls out a pistol and point at Anna’s head. Anna didn’t flinch or showed any fear as she stares in his eyes. Agent #1 hesitates as his finger barely touching the trigger. He pulls the trigger and in slow motion the bullet shots out of the barrel. Abel leaps over a hood of the car and pushes Anna way from the bullet. Abel grabs Agent# 1 by the neck and smashes into the hood of the van. Two masked agents got out the van and point their pistol at Abel.

 

Masked Man #1:

Let him go now or I’ll put a bullet in your head.

 

Abel:

He already tried that.

 

Abel begins to squeeze on Agent #1’s throat. Agent #1 starts grasps for air as his face starts turning red. Anna gets up quickly and runs to Abel.

Anna:

Lucas, let him go. You’re killing him.

 

Abel:

Not yet.

 

Abel releases the agent and he back sup letting the agent fall to the ground.

Agent #1:

(grasps)

See Anna, a weapon that all they are.

 

Abel:

I didn’t kill you because she told not to. You’re just not worth it. Blind by your own hate. How pathetic?

 

Agent #1:

This isn’t the end.

 

Edwin (O.S):

Yes, it is.

 

Edwin and Ashley walked out of the forest all battered and messy. Sarah and Jessica walked over joining the others.

 

Edwin:

Your men have been defeated. There only you and us.

 I have to say you’re outnumbered.

 

Agent #1:

You think you won. Sorry, but you just made yourself a bigger target.

 

Jessica:

You’re not going to do anything lame like summon helicopter as your getaway and then said I’ll get you, damn kids.

 

Agent #1:

You’re going to let me go.

 

Abel looked behind and then that the others.

 

Abel:

Who’s going to let you go?

 

Agent #1 points to every single of them.

 

Agent #1:

You kill me and there goes your perfect world. You have everyone from NSA to Interpol kicking down your door.

 

Agent #1 smiles as he begins backing up.

 

Agent #1:

Well, I have been fun.

We will do it again real soon.

See you guys later.

 

Agent #1 jumps in his van and drives away leaving the gang watching him. Edwin extended his arms.

 

Anna:

No!

 

Edwin:

He’s bluffing.

 

Anna:

I don’t want to take that risk. If he comes back we handle it from there. Right now I want to home and have a cup of anything with some Mac & Cheese.

 

They all turned to Abel who was in his own little world.

 

Ashley:

So big guy, are you staying or not.

 

Able:

Why not?

 

Abel begins walking to the car with the others following him as he entered the car.

 

Abel:

You guys will be lost without me anyway.

 

Edwin:

Hey, we can take care of ourselves.

 

Abel:

Really so who warned that the men was coming?

 

Ashley:

We would have handled it.

 

Abel:

They probably would have caught you with your pant down.

 

The others entered the car leaving Anna and Sarah alone. They were still arguing.

Sarah:

I remember when we were like that.

 

 

Anna:

I wondered how mom did it.

 

Then they got into the car and drove back up to the house.

very good I like the story line I see you have alot going on kind of like a soap opera you have one story line going then you switch it to another story line
