I Hate You Because I Don't Hate You At All

I hate the way you walk.

The way you talk,

The way you move.

I hate your f*****g smile.

How it makes me melt

Into a puddle of my

Own stupidity.

I hate the way your eyes are blue

And how, when you're away,

I look at the sky and think,

"Damn I really miss you right now."

I hate the way everyone loves you,

Even though nobody knows the real you

But me.

I hate how you tell me your secrets.

How you say you love me when we cuddle

On the couch.

I hate how you tell me I'm beautiful.

How you compare me to raindrops

On a tulip.

Crisp, clean beautiful.

I hate how good you are to me.

Because I don't f*****g deserve you.

Even though you say that everyone

Deserves someone.

I don't deserve anyone.

But you know what I hate the most?

How you kiss me and make me

Forget my name.

How you make me feel,

If it's only just a second,

That I am someone,

And I am worthy of love.

I hate how you make me realize

That I can't hate you.

Because you're the only person in the world

That I love.

I understand that truly, and I love the feeling and the emotion, I love you, I ahte you, thats sort of linked, right? And I ahte you cause I hate you is the truth of all, love someone cause we hate someone, thats really great!

I wrote a poem like this a long long long time ago, like during the summer. I mainly wrote those "love" poems for my friend. I could care less about those types of poems, but this is very nice, I find it interesting. Nice rhythm, keep up the great work!

To Doug O, I think the poem was great. The repetative words had rhythem. And honestly, not every poem is out there to be psycho-analyzed. This could have simply been a random product of insperation.
