The Red Moon

The Red Moon

A Poem by Pyronnor

As the moon glows red

you draw your sword

you point it at me

you tell me to say my final words

so i do

as you drive the sword in my chest

i wake up

none of it's real

the moon glows silver

Oh I love this, the simple title and then the dreamy feel of the red moon, that once awaken is silver. Very nice short write and just enough to tell the story in such imagery.

This is amoung the best ones that you have written so far. I like the imagery, being that this poem is based on that, but it really paints a picture in the mind of whats going on. Also, I love the transition of the dream world to the reality, where in one the moon is silver and in the other its red. Nice touch, way to bring it to life.
