So You

So You

A Poem by Triston Taylor

'So You' By: Triston Taylor

So you
think you can lie?

Lies from your ruby lips don't differ from everyone
else's bullshit. Now I
scream from the bleeding heart you killed. I used to be so strong, I ne-
ver more wrong.

So you
think you know love?

Your heart darker then my suicidal thoughts.
Your joy is from from my tears.
Unbelievable love from your emotionless soul so pure.
Soul that kills.

So you
think I'm okay?

My heart's blood is seeping from my swollen eyes as
glistening tears so clear.
My mind lives in fear of your vocals, or knows misery and pain follows.
It feats death.

So you
think nothings wrong?

I look to your eyes and see a black hole, a hole
to what once was your soul.
Your windows show abandonment, broken too much you forgot how to love.
That is wrong.

So you
think I'll fall back?

No, my feet firmly planted to burning fire. I fear
your touch. I fear your lust.
I fell so hard I hit hell, now I stand in fire. How does one fall if he
still yet stand.

I really like the detail you go into with the fourth paragraph (excluding the "so you" parts.) You use a lot of strong words that help explain the actual detail of each paragraph. I like it. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
