One and Only

One and Only

A Poem by Triston Taylor

Your smile and laugh runs through my mind. The feelings you create no one can find. Your different then people around me. You've shown me a easier path to see. I can't quite explain these feelings or how to express. You've caused something different from underneath my breasts. You've given that broken, beaten, and bruised thing beneath my chest life. You removed the knife. You've started the healing. You're holding up that ceiling. The one to the house of my life. The one that collapsed because of that knife. She stole everything I had. Yet you still act like it isn't bad. And I know why, because your fixing it. Replenishing after all that s**t. I'll never want anything more. I'm done, I've found the right door. The door that leads to happiness. Even if my pockets are filled with emptiness. I'll still be happy cause I have the most irreplaceable thing under the heavenly blue. That thing is you.

I like your images, but I think you could organize the poem better. It has a nice rhythm, but it's hard to figure out exactly what you want since everything just runs together. Try splitting things into stanzas. Even if they don't have the same number of lines or syllables. Just put the concepts you want together. Then you can figure out where you want pauses and such to break down lines more.
