Angel

Angel

A Poem by Triston Taylor
"

I wrote this for an ex girlfriend but words are as pure as the feelings that dwell upon them, even if the feelings no longer exist

"
You've saved me from my demon. You are what my words can summon. Sent to me as a reward. Something no one can afford. Your my angel helping me win this fight. Somebody I connect and talk to on a endless night. When the dark comes your at my door. Something I haven't had before. Your here to help numb the pain till it's gone. Just gotta pick up the phone. When I'm on edge. You won't let me fall, nor move, not a budge. I look forward to our talks. Our long walks. Walks to find the demon that day. To push it away. To hide those feelings till they're forgotten. Scaring away my own damnation. All cause the all mighty lord sent me something beautiful. My own personal Angel. Thank you for all you've done to help love. Fact that you have always been there is undeniable. Something I haven't had for a long time. Something that brought back my inner rhyme. I still struggle with all my feeling. But I know once they resurface you won't be leaving. Sticking to the end even after they leave. Our friendship is something to believe. Never let go. All because we are here to kill one and the other foe. Mine and yours. Eventually the sun will reach our shores. For we are each others angel. A duo that's unbeatable. Once we where helpless. Now we have way to achieve happiness. That's worth it to keep fighting. For once in my life, I have a bestfriend, who helped me notice a path to a happy ending.
