Anarchy

Anarchy

A Poem by Triston Taylor
"

I base most of my life around intellect so I tend to get into discussion of politics, religion, society, and many others but the easiest one I have found to write about is society.

"
I stand for the people I love. I stand for soldiers and loved ones above. People who left without warning. Warriors lost their lives for future destruction. Look at us. They would hate us now. A country that once stood high is full of obesity of hunger for power. We work to become better but step backwords. Very few people make a change in america. 16 year Olds shot for standing for their country. Our 16 year Olds get shot by our police force. Disrespect covers this land. Shame cloaks each city. We are no better here. We live in fear. Fear of ourselves. Fear of what we have done to earth. We look to technology for the answers to our problems. We look to a false beliefe for guide. If there was a god he's gone now. Disappointed in how we discovered a way to live. Shame was given by him. I would abandon too. As a god I'd refuse you scum. You destroy yourself and blame others to stay in power. You lie and cheat to the top but we encourage then believe. False information gets to people faster then truth. Our president could die and we'd think he's on vacation. I look in the mirror and see disappointment in my own self. I look at my own self with hate. I hate myself for being born into corrupt and only sharing now. I could have pushed so much farther by now. So many more would understand. Yet now I must speak in this short time I believe I have left. You may think I have time but I have centuries of words to say. I have trees of notebooks to write. Not enough time to let you explore the informing fireworks exploding in my mind. Don't judge me for my actions. My actions mean nothing to the knowledge that lays in my head. For it could answer the questions that linger beside you I'm bed.
