Eternity is me

Eternity is me

A Poem by GhoulOfGore

Forever sleeping
In my coffin
not quite remembered
not quite forgotten.

I lay here quiet
Feeling one
with the Earth

Dreaming of the future
And my next birth

Am I worth
the world's time
To swallow me up
or will I forever
swim in death's cup

The wine so thick
the color of brick
with tears in my eyes
I cry out to the night

I want to be forever
Eternity's zephyr

To blow through the tree's
giving life to the bee's

I smile in this coffin
As I am now forgotten

My body sinks
Into the earth
And for once I believe
there is no reason to greave
As its okay
To decay

And as I had asked
The world agreed
For me to become
The wind
And the Breeze

For that is eternity
And eternity is me

I love the last part of this. Really ties it altogether with a pretty little bow.
