Inspirational wisdom
that draws us
near
we feast on it like beasts
we drown in golden mud
The
lizard
the snake, and the frog
their fur touches you
it
touches more
The jungle of our being
our home, long
forgotten
we still feel
the years of growing
Our
tribe
killing in the name of
extinguish ourselves
them, they
run.
Let me speak
of the thousand needles
their dull
pain
and peaceful sting
The song of our fathers
the
edges of the swords
slicing softly
the flesh that was once
Oh, yes
draw me near
I want your body
I want your
soul
The blood
spring water clear
the thirst
and the
fading fear
What do I say
a depraved, twisted corpse
touch
me, hold my arms
I loved you so much more
A beauty there
was once
she told me go to sleep
I heard cry and mourning
I
knew her... deep
Oh ode to joy
beautiful, silent keep
bring
me to my saviour
bring me back to sleep
