It's A Good Day To Have Some Fun

It's A Good Day To Have Some Fun

A Poem by Pussman

I step outside into the sun
The morning seems to have just begun
It's a good day to have some fun

So I put on some shoes and socks
I went outside and turned all the locks
I walked calmly for a few blocks
When I started to go for a run

I started to realize the beat
Of the pitter patter of my feet
Every time they hit the concrete
I looked at the time and it was one

By then I had started to sweat
My clothing and face were soaking wet
I had gone for miles I bet
When I saw a few girls and a nun

I started to talk with these girls
All of their heads were covered with curls
One of them said her name is Pearl
A handsome man came; I was outdone

It was time for me to depart
I felt hungry with pain in my heart
So I walked right up to a cart
And I ordered a hotdog and bun

After I ate, I called a car
And he took me to the nearest bar
I arrived and heard a guitar
I walked in and ordered a cold one

There I met a girl who was Dutch
And while we talked, we drank way too much
Going on about such and such
And after a while, the room spun

Well I was absolutely screwed
And then the bartender called me rude
So then we got into a feud
And I am pretty sure that I won

After that mess, we went outside
And we decided to call a ride
We went to the place I reside
Driver asked for a tip, but got none

We got in and took off our shoes
And we also drank a bit more booze
Then suddenly, I blew a fuse
When she mentioned that she had a son

I was loud; she told me to stop
But that did it and I blew my top
She grabbed a phone and called a cop
And I went over and grabbed my gun

She had escaped from my rigor
And then I had lost all my vigor
Gun to my chest, pulled the trigger
And then my body felt a great stun

So that day I hadn't survived
It was some time before they arrived
And then I couldn't be revived
So then my entire life was done
