You may not have written about love before, but I can tell your heart has felt it. You have been able to put into words the the special feelings of a last loving moment: structured at the beginning...formal, then slowly drifting apart to a memory. Being a veteran, I can't help but to think how many couples have shared this moment when their spouse, man or woman, has had to leave for war.
Again, very good job, Paris. :))
For a sixteen year old with a scant grasp on love and lovers, you pen the emotion effectively. Unlike the others, I like the image you create at the opening. I think of a pine thicket with it's magic smells, and needles all around with the snow falling, It takes me back to childhood. The pine thicket was my secret place to think and dream.
Really good job on this Paris, your words are like liquid, so full of longing and raw passion. You should write about love more often; your very good at it (this comingfrom someone who normally prefers not to read the love genre) Awesome poem you have created :)
Kind, sweet, and cute--that’s who people say I am, but do they really know me…?
Perhaps not, and that’s why I must tell you.
I am a complicated little person, who likes some thin.. more..
