Letters to me....

I know your hurt.

Stop sugar coating your feelings, don’t try to hide them, to suppress them.

Embrace it. Feel it. Feel the pain.

Feel it in every limb of your body, every pore…. Every cell must ache.

Hurt for broken promises, hurt for memories.  Hurt for yourself.

Remember that their opinion of you doesn’t define who you are.

Never mind how long it lasted, it's normal to feel it as a lifetime.

Don’t jump stages, it's okay to be mad and it's fine to be sad. Don’t pretend it's okay.

So things don’t go as planned, that’s life…. And that's fine,

Lessons are the best thing you can't get from people.

Appreciate them, learn to accept them.

FORGIVE. Forgive them for giving up, forgive yourself for trying so hard.

Their lack of interest is oblivion, you ARE good enough. 

You'll find what your looking for, and when you do…. Hold on tight,

But for now, loosen up and just be ….

Review: I like the concept, it is very relatable in that I think we all pep talk to ourselves (unfortunately too many of us don't listen). Inspirationally good advice with a strong moral people can take to heart. There is one sentence I would like to suggest the addition of a word (it's normal to feel it as a lifetime) as if a lifetime. I believe that the writing isnt always about the words, but when u write with passion and pain the feelings will be spread out for others to feel too.

I'm not much of a poet myself so I probably can't offer much useful criticism but for what it's worth, I enjoyed it. It was simple and yet effective and I think it would strike a chord with anyone as we all have those times where we feel low and like life is just kicking us repeatedly and these are just the kind of words we need to hear at those times. So I would say you should feel proud for having written this. It's good work.
