So Afraid

So Afraid

A Poem by Bethany Woody

I woke up today

woke up so afraid

lost in a disgrace

there is no escape

never gonna leave this place

somewhere inside myself

my own worst enemy.

All that you've done to me

and all that's been said between

you and I

can't erase

the pain inside.

Don't know what to do

looking for help somewhere

someone to save me

I'm not prepared

been laid to waste

I'm suffocating, hyperventilating

put me out of my misery.

All that you've done to me

and all that's been said between

you and I

can't erase

the pain inside.

This reminds me mostly of Linkin Park. And a little bit of Postal Service for some reason.
Great poem though.
It felt like a song in the structure of it.
Very well written.

i loved the flow, though you might want to fix a few of the mistakes
in the 3rd stanza you left out the spaces between these words "notprepared" and "meout"
