Fighting For Us

Fighting For Us

A Poem by Bethany Woody

You ripped me apart
but I'm still here.
You broke me down
but I still hold you dear.

I'm willing to fight
the hard fight.
I'm willing to make
all the wrongs right.

What doesn't kill you
makes you stronger.
And I know I can
hold on a little longer.

I don't want to wake
under the shadow of mistakes.
I don't want to be
the one who finaly breaks.

I don't want to be
the one to fall.
I don't want to be
the one who lost it all.

What doesn't kill you
makes you stronger.
And I know I can
hold on a little longer.

I won't leave
you behind.
I know what
I want for mine.

I want us
together again.
I want us
always best friends.

What doesn't kill you
makes you stronger.
And I know I can
hold on a little longer.

I know that it's
a long road to ride.
But I'll walk it gladly
with you by my side.

Say you'll find
it's end with me.
And I'll show you
how loves supposed to be.
