Metallica

Metallica

A Poem by Bethany Woody
"

#4 in my Musical Greats Series

"

The Four Horsemen

ride with

No Remorse

just to

Seek And Destroy

for a

Phantom Lord.

a Master Of Puppets

controling a business

Damage, Inc

that simply is there to

Welcome Home

all of our

Disposable Heros.

One

beast or man who will

Ride The Lightening

until it just wants to

Fade To Black

and we say it's

Sad But True.

The Memory Remains

and days are spent seeking

(And) Justice For All

but instead of money we put

Whiskey In The Jar

and for them it becomes

The Ecstacy Of Gold.

so For Whom The Bell Tolls

nobody knows, and really

Nothing Else Matters

nothing except perhaps to

Turn The Page

turn the clock hands

Until It Sleeps.

You might think Metallica, as a musical grea,t is she crazy? But Metallica has been around for many years(about 25 I think) and is and always will be one of my personal favorites as far as groups go. So this one is for a younger generation then my previous pieces in the series.

Now this is innovative! And, indeed, Metallica is a musical legend, and I have been a fan since I was 16... I'm 38 now. I love their stuff. I think your poem is ingenious... You composed it well and did not seem to struggle as if trying to make something up; it flows nicely and makes sense. You're exceptionally creative.

Metallica is one of my favorite bands and I relate to them and are very near and dear to my heart and I love the creativity about this poem it reminds me of something similar I did in high school but it wasn't written it was spoken :). but still I loved how you integrated all albums into this poem is especially the loads and reloads, its a shame there wasn't any no leaf clover, st. anger, or death magnetic but I still liked it :)

You did a great job on this Blue Jean Baby! I love Metallica !
And you nailed this one right on the head.
Now I think I will try and do this with some music myself......smiles
I'll send you a request when I'm done.

But I still listen to their old stuff...... I hope their new album with Rick Rubin....will kick a*s :)

Metallica is good, but you should do more than recite song titles.
What about the crap over napster? They were not such hard rockers then.

Well done. Do you know where the inspiration for the song "One" came from? Just checking your Metallica knowledge. :)

First off yes Metallica is a musical great, they were a big part of the eighties and beyond with though provoking lyrics and great progressive musical pieces... now as for the poem once again another great tribute, your interjection of there song titles to make up this poem is pure genius... Awesome Work!!
