Drip Drip DripA Poem by Bethany WoodySomething, who knows!I scratched an itch today and made myself bleed all over the white carpet in the living room.
drip drip drip.
Like the leaky faucet in the kitchen that I never have to turn on any time I want to wet a napkin.
drip drip drip.
Like the rain outside the window falling steadily down like a waterfall half dried up from a bad drought.
drip drip drip.
Like the tears sliding down my cheeks because you walked away scratched me out of your life until I bled, red on white carpet.
