How very truly beautiful... "seise" the word... transitive verb meaning "sense"... I love that. Then with the Carpe Verbum! Sense the word... seize the word.
Yes, I even double checked "seise" in the online dictionary.
Now, whether that was intentional (seise) or just fate that you typed an 's' instead of a 'z', it is a marvelous way to wrap up this piece!
Mona, thank you for your review of "sexually abused". I don't think there could be a better review, you brought a smile to my face. if you want to see the piece performed go to www.youtube.com/LalliPoetry
This poem is beautifully written, the images created work perfectly, and i love how you ended it with the cliche' that the pen is mightier then the sword.. some say not to use cliche's.. but i say whtever works for you, and if used in the right context and approriate spot within the poem, they can work beautifully and it did! much love n' respect

You are right - the most creative, intuitive works of imagination, have stemmed from the humble pen. I'm not going to analyze, criticise, or even glamorise your poetic tribute.
I really liked and enjoyed this one, just as it is.
I love that, tying to remember the song Mona Lisa Mona Lisa I love you...well something like that. Poem for you, my homage to The Wind In The Willows by Kenneth Graham. Hope you like it. Philip
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
The banks side reeds sing a song
A song that always soothes
The river still lays slugabed
To sleepy yet to move
Busy Birds chorus the dawn
In trees newly clothed
Spring at last has taken the stage
And banished the winter cold
Mist plays tag and dances with
A soft zephyr of breeze
The sun peeps out flaming red
To warm the eager bees
Now the river residents
Take up their morning work
Ratty stretches gets in his boat
To go and have a talk
Ducks a dabbling in the weed, up tails all
A mayfly skims the waters edge
Alert to natures call
Kingfisher in his gorgeous plumage
Patrols the his larder deep
Summer is not far away when many will not sleep
And if you listen you may hear and to it be drawn
The silken notes and melody of the Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
hmmm. I very rarely have come across the poem of a sculpter. I like that I am not the only poet to use the word terra... this pleases me. I, overall, like it... but I want to know more about it.

This is my letter to the world,
That never wrote to me,-
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet .. more..
