A Poem by Bethany Woody
"

My tribute to Emily Dickinson, my favorite poet.

"

Had I not known

the nature of love

A picture of heaven

soaring high above.

I would not have understood

all there was of me

And I would not have seen

all there was to see.

The heavens of love, great inspiration in this work. How true, from so high we see what we need to, to take us to the next level of our existance!
Great Write!

the poetic styles of Emily Dickinson are often hard to muster seeing she did have a distnict and interesting way looking at it. It seems to be light and airy with the words seeing it provides a brillant context within the entire piece of poetry and the complete giant library of what Emily had written while she was still alive.

Tributes are often hard to pull off, this one is neatly packaged and to the point. seems in the first line you spelled known improperly with know. Take care.

Love was not placed in your heart to stay
love isn't love til it's given away

Made me think of that hope you don't mind.

Great job. I think she would be honored by this.
