![]() Ghosts of The PastA Poem by Bethany WoodyThey hide in back alleys in shadows and darkness only creeping out to spy on me in my dreams and subconscience hours.
They stare mutely from the other side of life yet they are not dead they do not eat do not sleep do not cry or feel.
They simply wait, wait for me.
Last night they tired of waiting they came for me shyly calling my name I ran from them desperate to escape. there was no place to hide you can never hide from the ghost of the past © 2008 Bethany WoodyReviews
