Sometimes In SilenceA Poem by PurbleazaleyaA poem on the different types of silence we have in a romantic relationshipPeople of
old say Sometimes
silence is all you need When words
fall redundant In the
emotions of the moment In the
impressions of tender love Sometimes
silence is all they have When there
are just no words Even though
sound matters so much Their minds
cry out As silence
consumes the mind in a fever Sometimes
silence leaves them floating Floating in
an endless uncertainty Guessing and
pulling at bits of memories To find a clue
for a direction To anchor
them on grounded reality Sometimes
silence overwhelms them Drowning
their hearts and soul in confusion Despairing
while searching for coherent sounds Making up
words to feed the mind To find the
cracks in the wall and repair them all When the
silence is what they must avoid And yet that’s
all they have The yearning
to know is unbearable Because they
want to know They need to
know What to do
and why it’s got to be done To avoid it
from crashing and breaking beyond repair © 2014 PurbleazaleyaAuthor's Note
