Just a Thought...

Just some rambling.

2012 comes out in theaters tomorrow; another movie about tragic events that will end the world. Sadness, fear and the need to live will bring together mankind to save the world…blah, blah, blah, blah. Undoubtedly the millions of people will go to see this movie. It will make millions of dollars for already rich actors, directors, produces and a studio.

One 11/3/09 Dear Jack was released…a documentary about Andrew McMahon’s battle with Leukemia; a real disease that real people face and die of. This movie wasn’t released in theaters to the general public. As a matter of fact, it wasn’t even released in stores. All of the stores in the area offered it online, but not one store carried it. 

 

I get that pretend drama is easier for people. It’s pretend. The bad guy loses and the good guy wins…the world gets saved.

 

But there is something wrong with this picture.
