Life and Death

Life and Death

A Poem by Cleo
"

This is for Aledizzle ;)

"

Sprouting growing

Starting to live

Getting older

Each day

&

Each night

Older & older

By each day

Comes,

I live to die

And die to live

My heart beat

Starts slowing

So I start showing

The wrinkles

Of time

Passing threw

Me

With my

Last breath

I let the

Sunlight crash

In my veins

So I can live

Eternally

With you

very structured, very well laid out. The flow gets a bit choppy throughout,
but it still works, nice piece

I love how you showed the aging and the presence of time. Yet, I love the very last stanza the best

O.O superb cleo darling. *Golf claps* :)

Love the third stanza, full of imagery and metaphors. Though, I'm sure you realize it, but, threw is through - third stanza, sixth line. Nothing that takes away from the beauty of the piece, you should keep writing - you construct the love poems I can never seem to create myself.
