To the Poet, Chenin Marie

To the Poet, Chenin Marie

A Poem by Caleb
"

I might delete this later on; being that this seems a little creepy, but its late and my mind is not at all functioning at its fullest potential. Hope y'all enjoy!!!

"

You tell a story of charming lands;

Your choice of words are never bland.

But see to this, this one request,

Put this free verse down to rest.

This barbaric style of fools

Is little more than simple tools.

See your work to better achieve

When free verse is left to be.

Charm us with a complex dance,

Instead of leaving things to chance.

Chisel your work to the finest grade;

Never allow your works to fade.

For we are but a special breed;

Love, hate, selflessness, and greed

All in which we put in words,

A melody of the sweetest cords.

Count me among your growing fandom,

For you have held my heart for ransom.

Bravo.
For we are but a special breed;
Love, hate, selfishness and greed
All in which we put in words,
A melody of the sweetest chords.

It is now that I am convinced
After 3 times of reading this!
