schrodinger's letter

schrodinger's letter

A Poem by Puleng
"

Comparing the fear of waiting for a college decision to the cat in Schrodinger's experiment: existing in two states of fear and hope at once, but unable to feel either until the decision arrives.

"

i come to the realization

not me

am

the

cat?

a gun is pointed at my head

the future depends on

you, electron

your butterfly equations the hand on the stamp of fate

am

heartbeat

will my blood be spilled?

the clock counts down

in two states

unless they already collapsed

am

blank

stumbling upstairs in the dark

if time travel existed

i could prepare for the blow

but

i realize i have been waiting for this my whole life.
