Tomorrow Weeps

Tomorrow Weeps

A Poem by PuckandPendulum
"

I had feelings, so I wrote them.

"
Tomorrow weeps,
For yesteryear has placated the follies of today.
So long has the bellman tolled and toiled,
For what was thought a promise.
Yet, here we stand,
Like vagrant culms of wheat.
Shimmering in our desires to be more,
To return to wholeness.
What is the soil,
That our roots so heavily grasp?
Nervous blades cling to auricles,
Humid with the dew of anticipation.

Could we not be more?
