Can't Be Fixed

Can't Be Fixed

A Poem by Kristen

Cold prickles of fear,

Skin burning in shame,

I can't have you near,

I can't take the blame.

You said you didn't want me,

You said I hardly mattered,

That was the key

To having my heart shattered.

Now you have moved on,

Now you have forgotten,

I feel so withdrawn,

All I can feel is rotten.

I hope someday you read this,

I hope someday you hurt,

Knowing something is amiss

That can't just be fixed.

Author's Note

Kristen
Inspired by many things, from New Moon to John Mayer's "Heartbreak Warfare". A lighter tone as well. I hope you enjoyed it!
